El Quetzal Coffee Co. is part of the Bendaña McEwan family’s fourth generation coffee producers from the mountains of Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Since the 1990's our production has focused on specialty and high-commercial grade coffees and maintaining decades long direct-trade relationships with roasters in a number of countries, particularly Japan.

As we transition into the third and fourth generations of stewardship, we are building on the foundation of excellence of our predecessors and investing in quality and transparency, and social and environmental responsibility to ensure the coffee industry thrives for generations to come.
