Villa Sarchi is a rare, natural mutation of the Bourbon tree, prized for its compact "dwarf" size and its ability to thrive in high-altitude, wind-swept ridges. While the plant itself is small, the cherries it produces are powerhouses of sweetness. Historically native to Costa Rica, we have carefully cultivated this variety within the El Arenal Natural Reserve, where the rich volcanic soil of Nicaragua gives it a profile you won't find anywhere else.

The Sustainable Choice

Because Villa Sarchi has a robust root system, it requires less fertilization and is perfectly suited for our sustainable agroforestry practices. Selected by the Bendaña McEwan family for its unique adaptation to our mountain micro-climate.
