Simply wonderful coffee! Geisha from this farm is top quality coffee! This bean variety does extremely well in Nicaragua and this farm cultivated a great cup quality bean. If You have not tried you should! I know you look at the price green and say that's expensive! It's so worth it even adding a little to your other order. Thank you!

Thank you for amazing coffee. This bean variety brings back memories of when i first started roasting coffee and Java from Nicaragua is delicious. I prefer roasting it lighter but it can certainly be roasted darker or even several roast variations blended together. Thank You

I profiled this 2 ways, a light medium and a true medium both are great and will be using this at my coffee cart and in my cold brew

Saw these mentioned somewhere (facebook ad perhaps?) and knowing my son-in-law loves this origin, thought we would take a chance on 10lbs and split it with him.
Our first roasts were so-so, but then I discovered we really enjoy it when hear the first pop of 2nd crack.

This brings out cocoa and darker notes and pushes the fruity floral notes a little to the back. It also produces a creamier mouthfeel.

I think we will order some more!

I profiled the Nicaragua Yellow Catuai from El Quetzal Coffee as a dark roast, even though it was recommended for a medium profile, and I am glad I trusted my instincts. The darker roast brings out a bold, rich flavor with excellent body, smooth depth, and the kind of strong, satisfying character I want in a dark coffee.

I loved the finished roast so much that it became the foundation of Front Line Hero, which now headlines my coffee lineup as my number-one seller. This coffee has quickly become a customer favorite and represents everything I wanted Front Line Hero to stand for: bold flavor, strength, consistency, and purpose.

Through iHonorUSA.com, I am also actively sending Front Line Hero to deployed U.S. service members so they can enjoy a small creature comfort from home. As a veteran, being able to share one of my best coffees with the men and women serving overseas makes this roast especially meaningful to me.

I profiled the Nicaragua Washed Java from El Quetzal Coffee as a medium-light roast, and I could not have been more impressed with the results. The flavor is incredible. As soon as the beans came out of the roaster and I smelled the aroma, I knew this profile was going to work.

I now use this coffee at my café for espresso-based drinks as well as cold brew. It has a wonderful body and a rich, balanced flavor that stands up beautifully in milk-based beverages. In cold brew, the body and natural sweetness really help bring out and complement the flavors of the syrups without allowing them to overpower the coffee.

What a delicious bean. I ordered two 150g sample pack and roasted one six days ago, to a 13.3% moisture loss; a light to light-medium roast in my Kaleido M1 Lite. A rich, full-bodied coffee with more sweet notes of various fruits than my palate can discern. I will be ordering five pounds in the near future.

Our guests loved this and couldn't believe how smooth and tasty it was. Makes good lattes and brewed coffees. I was losing hope in Nicaraguan coffee and am happy I decided to try these.

I've enjoyed this for lattes and pour overs by itself and blended with other coffees. Best Nicaraguan coffee I've tried to date.
